Whistler Pride and Ski festival is upon us and it is arguably one of the most fun weeks of the year. The 24th Whistler Pride and Ski Festival will be taking place from January 23 to 31. Over the course of the week, participants will be able to enjoy outdoor activities, cultural events, and a whole lot of partying. Pride festivals have a worldwide reputation for being an off the wall good time – adding a fantastic mountain resort town in to the mix only pretty much assures this festival will not disappoint. Throughout the festival, Whistler Pride Ski Guides host participants on Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains, giving them a VIP look at some of the best spots on the mountains. Groups are split up based on ability level, and it’s a great way to meet new skiing and snowboarding friends. But the fun doesn’t end at the bottom of the slopes – in fact your day on the hill is really just a warm up. Along with some world class après events, such as the Long John Party on the 25th to the Cowboy Party on the 26th to the Pool Party on the 28th, Whistler Pride and Ski Festival is known for bringing in some big names in comedy – Margret Cho being one of the highlights from last year. This years main event will surely be the Oh Snow She Didn’t  comedy hosted by Bianca Del Rio, Jackie Beat, Sherry Vine, and Varla Jean Merman. Last but certainly not least there is the Snowball, Pride and skis annual grand finale at the Whistler conference center. The event takes place the last night of the festival and features Yinon Yahel, DJ Bret Sea, and Flava. For details on tickets, and everything else, visit the Whistler Pride and Ski Festival website.
