Dreaming Of A White Christmas
Each winter Whistler turns into a winter wonderland and a Christmas in Whistler is one to remember. The whole village sparkles with thousands upon thousands of twinkling lights bringing Christmas cheer and warming the hearts of visitors from around the globe. Combine this with a blanket of snow covering the ground and you can almost expect to see santa and his sleigh in the sky.
Whistler Holiday Experience
The Whistler Conference Centre plays host to this FREE event each year which is perfect for families. Kids can enjoy mini put put, table games, bouncy castles, crafts and video games while parents sit back, relax and catch up in the lounge area.
Ice Skating
Whistler Olympic Plaza becomes a beautiful outdoor ice skating rink complete with music and lights. Free helmets and push bars are available for beginners and it’s only $5 for skate hire rentals if you don’t have your own. Admission is FREE.
Whistler Christmas Dream
If sitting around a beautiful Christmas tree unwrapping presents is the way you want to start your Christmas day the Whistler Christmas Dream is a company you need to know about. Their design team will deliver and install your perfect tree as well as disassemble it upon collection at the end of your stay.
Dress Like Santa Day
In the lead up to Christmas Whistler Blackcomb like to celebrate the silly season and once Santa and Mrs Clause hit the slopes you know Christmas is right around the corner. Skiers and Snowboarders young and old are encouraged to dress up in their best Santa and Mrs Clause ensembles and it’s truly a site to see. The first 100 people to arrive at the Whistler Village gondola in full attire will even be gifted a free lift ticket as a thank you for helping to spread the Christmas cheer
