“But what would we do?” You say. What COULDN’T you do? Whistler is full of prime-time activities, dining deals, & festivals in Autumn – plus it is THE best time to be hiking, biking, packing a backpack with a picnic and exploring this usually busy town and all of the hidden gems it has to offer. Accommodation is much cheaper – meaning you get way more bang for your buck and can enjoy finer living conditions whilst you are here.
The Fall is a favorite of the locals here for a host of reasons, and there are endless opportunities to create a perfect itinerary and I am excited to share with you WHY you should enjoy a Whistler fall getaway this year.

Fall Dining Deals
A local delight! All of our favorite restaurants will soon be releasing their fall dining deals. What does this mean? Indulge in some of the best cuisines Whistler has to offer at a fraction of the price. In the past some of our favorite dining deals have included Araxi, 21 Steps, I’l Caminetto, Mongolie Grill, Sushi Village, Alta Bistro, Basalt and Mexican Corner!

Whistler has a list of attractive events in every season, and fall is no exception – particularly if you are a connoisseur of wine or beer!
Whistler Village Beer Festival
On September 8-13th (between 12-6pm) the Whistler Village Beer Festival is returning for its 12th Year! There will be over 80 beers, ciders & seltzers to sample, plus plenty of music and special events throughout the Gibbons venues!
Enjoy six days of beer, plus a main musical event held at the Whistler Olympic Plaza on September 13th. Buy your tickets HERE.
Cornucopia
This November 6th – 16th Cornucopia returns to Whistler with no better way to celebrate then with good food & drink. This fall festival invites attendees to indulge their taste buds by drink tastings, culinary demonstrations, drink seminars, and bar and restaurant experiences. There will be over 48 drink seminars to choose from!

Whistler Writers Festival
In October 30th – November 2nd the Whistler Writers Festival brings together authors, publishers, and readers for a celebration of storytelling in the mountains. The event features readings, workshops, panel discussions, and opportunities to connect with both local and international writers.
