A scenic float just south of Whistler with a few class 1 and 2 splashy rapids to have some fun on. Kids as young as 5 years old can enjoy this family friendly rafting adventure. It’s also suited for the older family members as you float along the river and take in the gorgeous scenery along the way.
Family Friendly Cheakamus Splash – Approximately 3 hours round trip
The Family-Friendly Cheakamus Splash rafting trip is a half-day fun float trip that features small splashy rapids, outstanding scenery and lots of laughs. It’s an ideal outdoor activity for families, children (5yrs+ and 50lbs+), seniors, and anyone looking for a gentle and fun scenic rafting adventure.
The Elaho is the most exhilarating white water rafting adventure you can do located south of Whistler in Paradise Valley. After a pre safety talk you and your team of rafters will face the challenging class 3 & 4 rapids pounding through white water with short recovering floats between each set of rapids. You will need to allocate a full day for this trip and can extend your Elaho experience with a full BBQ lunch with Wedge Rafting or opt to go with Canadian Outback who will provide a light snack and a drink to keep your energy levels up.
Wet & Wild Elaho Exhilarator – 8 hour round trip
Your river journey will take you through approximately 20 km’s (13 miles) of British Columbia’s most inspiring wilderness. Don’t forget to take time to reconnect with our world-class scenery, including: old growth forests, dormant volcanoes, towering glaciers, and stunning waterfalls that cascade hundreds of feet towards the river. Following your adventure you’ll be taken back to a fully-equipped rafting resort at the Executive Suites Hotel & Resort where you’ll be able to change back into your own clothes and enjoy the deluxe outback facilities including full service restaurant with outdoor patio.
